This is our original kokum butter heart bar, but made with jojoba oil that has been solar-infused with cedar wax, white spruce wax, black spruce wax, balsam fir wax, pinyon pine resin, vanilla bean pods, rosemary, nutmeg, clove, black tea leaves and a dash of cinnamon. Right before we poured the bars, we mixed in a hint of moon gold mica for a subtle, ethereal shimmer.
Our lotion bars are seasonal, beautiful, and absolute perfection. A decadent treat. A sustainable lotion bar that can be used from head to toe. No waste, no filler, no water - just healing and hydration.
HEART BARS are a labor of love. We sun-infuse the oil for 30+ days and then it takes 3-4 days to prep, pour and finish the product. Only (12) available tomorrow at noon.
The base of our heart bar is a combination of tallow and kokum butter. Here's why we love it:
- remains solid at room temp but melts quickly upon contact with the skin
- odorless
- absorbs quickly without leaving a great residue like shea and/or cocoa butter
- hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) making it safe to use on your face and on even the most sensitive skin
- strengthens the skin's natural moisture barrier, preventing transepidermal water loss
HOW TO USE: Remove the bar from its linen using clean, dry hands. Glide the bar directly across the skin. a little goes a long way. massage the oils into the skin and then wrap your bar in the linen. store in a cool, dry place (this product will melt in warm temperatures. if it gets too soft, put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes to harden). For added glow, apply to warm, freshly showered skin. this product can be used on the face and body.
