An advanced yet gentle retinol alternative that has been enhanced with potent tree resins, conifer waxes and bakuchiol. We created this powerful elixir to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth skin texture and fight inflammation.
What is CONIFER WAX? It is basically all of the non alcohol soluble molecules in conifer concrete. It's produced from the needles and twigs of the tree and not the resin, so the scent is very close to the actual tree scent.
In order to create a tree wax, a natural material would first be extracted in a solvent creating what's called a concrete, which most of the time is a thick paste and extremely fragrant. From there, the concrete would be washed with alcohol, then separated so that the alcohol can evaporate in order to extract just what's soluble in alcohol. This is called an absolute.
What's left behind is everything else that was NOT soluble in alcohol, still very, potent, nutrient dense and fragrant. And while floral waxes have been around for awhile, conifer waxes are a relatively new (and exciting) skincare ingredient.
We do not use any preservatives or emulsifiers in our products. Please shake well before each use.
